How is Yolo Rum sugar free? What is it made with?

Yolo rums are made with superior sugar cane grown in rich volcanic Caribbean soil in Panama. Through our distillation and vaporization process all impurities are extracted making Yolo Rums are certified sugar free, gluten free with no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives added. 

Many other rums put additives and other ingredients into their formula to disguise the bitterness or pour quality of their rums. Yolo Rums have no additives.

Are Yolo rums versatile to make other types of drinks?

Who made this special formula, and is it an aged rum?

Yolo Rums formula was created and produced by Cuban Born Master Distiller Francisco “Don Pancho” Fernandez. Don Pancho was one of the leaders in Cuba’s rum industry under Fidel Castro. After feeling Cuba, he landed in Panama. Don Pancho is the world’s most respected master blender. He’s made a formula using Cuban-style rum making that is proprietary for Yolo Rums.

In his words Don Pancho said, ‘This is the standard that all rums should be held to.”

What are the characteristic tastes of Yolo Rums?

Yolo Rum Gold is crafted in the classic “Cuban style,” aged more than 10 years in charred American Oak barrels. It has a buttery barrel-aged taste, cognac-like wet wood with a hint of raw cocoa aftertaste.

Yolo Silver is a 2-year blend also aged in American Charred Oak Barrells. It’s a clean light neutral rum, with flavors of cane, cocoa, vanilla, and hint of citrus.

How should Yolo Rums be stored?

Store rum in a cool, dark place, away from direct sunlight. Once opened, keep it tightly sealed to maintain its quality and flavor.

Are Yolo Rums produced in an ecofriendly environment?

Yolo Rum Gold, minimum aged 10-years could be enjoyed neat in a snifter glass at room temperature to allow all the aromas and flavors to come through or On the Rocks for a slightly chilled and diluted experience, can also be enjoyed on the rocks as an old-fashioned or it can also make mixed drinks.

Yolo Silver is good for making mixed drinks from classics like Mojitos and Daiquiris to more creative concoctions.
